Rihanna And Her Waist Long Red wig

Pop star Rihanna was spotted arriving at the Tribeca Grand Hotel on May 3rd in New York City. The “LOUD” singer sent the paparazzi into a frenzy when she stepped out her black SUV wearing a ridiculously long red wig. Riri (or as many will say her style team) is very smart and she knows that one of the important factors of being a star is keeping people interested in you. The crazy outfits and the different trendsetting hairstyles definitely make up for her lack of stage presence. It also shows that she’s not afraid of taking risks, which interestingly makes her music more appealing despite her questionable vocal skills.

In related news, her third single “S&M” is currently #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and came to be the bajan cutie’s tenth #1 single last month. She also just wrapped her new music video for “Man Down” in Jamaica over the weekend. That visual is scheduled to be released around the same time as the music video for the album’s duel single “California King Bed”.

Ciara & Amar’e Stoudemire Finally Walk The Red Carpet Together

New York Knicks star Amar’e Stoudemire and struggling singer Ciara attended the Candie’s Foundation 2011 event at Cipriani 42nd Street on May 3, 2011 in New York City. The couple looked great as they posed for pictures at the event helping to prevent teenage pregnancies. Their romance would explain why Ciara was spotted glowing at several Knicks game when her latest album Basic Instinct was bombing on the Billboard charts.

I think Ciara and Amer’e going public with their relationship will only help her star status and obviously make her more interesting for people who may have lost interest in her talents. Back when Ciara was R&B music’s new “it” girl, she was romantically linked to rapper Bow Wow. That relationship quickly ended back in 2006 and her career hasn’t quite been the same ever since. The recent low album sales have nothing to do with lack of promotion because Cici is one of the most photographed singers and is always seen at various events, running errands, and dancing her tail off at concert performances.

We’ll see how this relationship plays out in the public’s eye and if Ciara will capitalize off being linked with one of the hottest players in the NBA.
